Amazing Grace Culinary & Etiquette Program purpose is to enhance and develop social and leadership skills through the art form of culinary and etiquette.
Our mission is to increase urban youth awareness of the culinary and etiquette discipline while developing young leaders.
Our leadership consist of committed leaders and trained veterans in the culinary and etiquette community.
Amazing Grace Culinary & Etiquette Program (AGCEP) is the concept idea of
Rev. Allen Grimes, His love and passion in helping young people develop into future leaders of tomorrow is his ultimate goal.
Hattie Monroe, a veteran with over 30 years in the food service industry. She is a certified food service and senior manager at the Main Cafeteria at The World Bank in Washington, DC. Her passion for food, service and helping people has led to her efforts of helping young people in Montgomery County develop into future leaders.
Chef Carlos Fuentes has been in the culinary industry for over 10 years. He is lead banquet chef for The World Bank in Washington, D.C. His love for creating signature dishes from his native country of El Salvador has peaked his interest in culinary. He has a great interest of showing youth how to be creative through culinary arts.
Chef Yadira Stamp is a native of Panama City, Panama. She is a Culinary Professional who has acquired diverse experiences in the Restaurant industry, coupled with twenty-four (24) years of catering, and twenty-two (22) years of Customer Service. Chef Yadira's specialty is Panamanian cuisine and she has developed impressive menus and prepared culinary dishes influenced by culturally diverse regions in Panama and the Caribbean.
Chef James Bright is a seasoned veteran with over 15 years of experience in culinary. He is currently the head executive chef for The Department of Energy headquarters main cafeteria in Washington, D.C. Chef Bright is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, PA.
Cynthia Lett is respected worldwide as one of the top mavens of proper etiquette and international protocol, Cynthia Lett is one of the few Certified Etiquette Professionals (CEP) and Certified Protocol Professionals (CPP) earned by examination through the International Society of Protocol & Etiquette Professionals (www.ispep.org). Ms. Lett has been the principal of The Lett Group since 1983 as a trainer in Business & Social Etiquette, Business & Social Entertaining, International Protocol and Executive Communications Skills. She has been a program speaker and coach around the world - teaching and advising on these subjects.
